Tanko Yakasai Speaks Again:

Nonagerian politician Tanko Yakasai has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari as too lazy and corrupt to solve Nigeria’s problems, saying he only presented himself for election “to have power and make money.”

Mr Yankasai, who served as an aide to former President Shehu Shagari, told Sunday Tribune that Mr Buhari’s incompetence is evident in his failure to develop a programme that will aid in tackling the country’s challenges. He described Mr Buhari’s election as the greatest mistake made by Nigerians.


Trouble As Islamic Cleric Beats Up Pupil To Coma In Kwara:

Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has apprehended an Islamic cleric in the state for allegedly beating one of his pupils to a coma.

Naija News understands that the incident was brought to public notice by a Human Right Lawyer, Aishat Temin, who alleged that the cleric, Moshood Alabi dealt with the young child to a pulp for doing away with some money kept inside a piggy bank.

The legal practitioner disclosed that the incident happened at Alabi’s Quranic school during the weekend. Speaking in a radio programme aired on Diamond FM 88.7 yesterday, Temin said the law “does not allow the cleric to beat the boy or give him the power to order his students to beat up another student”.


Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Currently Attacking Ebonyi Community:

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen are currently attacking Ngbo community, close to Otunyi in Ebonyi state.

The attack is coming few days after suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded four communities of Egedege, Umuhuali, Obegu and Amezu in Ishielu Local Government Area of the state, killing over 30 people .


I’ve Always Known Buhari Can’t Solve Nigeria’s Problems —Yakasai

Elder statesman and former Presidential Liaison Officer, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, has said electing Major General Muhammadu Buhari as president of the country is the greatest mistake made by Nigerians in recent times. 

Yakasai, who spoke exclusively to Sunday Tribune, said he had always known Buhari lacks the capacity and the competence to deliver the goods and solve the country’s problems. 

“I have never supported and will never support Buhari. I know Buhari has no competence to rule the country. I have never changed my mind about his lack of competence to lead the country.
