"Killer Herdsmen Delete Nigerian Lives In Thousands, But Buhari Have Never Suspended Them"- Reno.

Reno Omokri has taken to his Official Twitter handle to speak out after the federal government suspended Twitter operation in Nigeria, saying that Buhari has never suspended the Fulani herdsmen who have deleted many Nigerians lives.

It could be recalled that Twitter deleted a tweet posted by the President, Muhammad Buhari in which he threatened to deal with the people plotting against Nigeria, and the security authorities, adding that those misbehaving today are too young to understand the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War, and he promised to deal with them in the language they understand.

In response to this development, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lia Mohammed in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Segun Adeyemo stated that the federal government has suspended the use of Twitter in Nigeria, adding that the continues use of the platform could affect the country negatively.

Reacting to the suspension of Twitter in Nigeria, Reno Omokri said that killer herdsmen have deleted Nigerians lives in thousands, and the President have not suspended them from the county, but he suspended Twitter for deleting his tweet.

He further revealed that the President, Muhammad Buhari has given more attention to Twitter than the Insecurity the country is facing today.

If you ask me, I would say, suspended Twitter in Nigeria was not the right thing to do, this platform has served as a means of income, communication, and other meaningful thing to all Nigerians including the government. This development will really affect the people, and the government negatively. I think our government needs to reconsider this decision, and do the right thing.

There have been mixed reaction on Twitter as many Nigerians took to the comment box to share their thoughts.
