President Buhari: Why Femi Adesina Was Right To Call Kanu's Claim On 'Jubril Of Sudan' Idiocy

To give clarity to Nigerians, the Presidency has again, debunked the report that, President Muhammadu Buhari is 'Jubril of Sudan'. The false claim began when President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria, in August 2017. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently, in the custody of DSS, made the false report popular. The Presidency has on different occasions debunked the false report.

According to President Buhari's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has again reacted to the claim, of the IPOB leader, Femi Adesina in his recent statement said it is idiocy for Nnamdi Kanu to think President Buhari is dead and was replaced by 'Jubril of Sudan'. The Special Adviser, to President Buhari recalled how Mr. President left Nigeria on several occasions, due to health challenges, but returned to Nigeria, triumphantly.

He disclosed that he was present, at the airport to receive President Buhari, who he said, shook hands, with his aides and had one thing or the other to say about, each one of them. Femi Adesina disclosed that President Buhari addressed him by his name, and told him, it was the best he had dressed on the occasion. Femi Adesina asked, how President Buhari could have known his name, if he were indeed the Jubril of Sudan? He also asked, how the Jubril of Sudan could have known, his normal way of dressing?

Nnamdi Kanu made the false allegation, and rumor of the death of Mr. President when he traveled, to London on a medical trip. The leader of IPOB has held the false report, he also claimed that Mr. President was cloned, and replaced with Jubril of Sudan. The question, one should ask is how possible is the claim, of Nnamdi Kanu in a country like Nigeria?

When one takes a critical look at the situation, it is glaring in my opinion, that it is very much impossible. Since the return of President Muhammadu Buhari to Nigeria, from 2017 till now, the President has met with many, Nigerian elites, with different governors, and even on occasions, former President Goodluck Jonathan, why hasn't any of these leaders said a thing about it? Nnamdi Kanu should know that Nigerians, are not gullible, it is not easy, to play with the intellect of Nigerians.

The claim of Nnamdi Kanu is very much unfounded, because, Nigerians are aware that the IPOB, leader is one of the critics of the current President. If the claim is also correct why has no opposition party, or other critics of Mr. President use the claim against him? Nnamdi Kanu should think it twice before trying to mislead learned Nigerians, with his false statements.
