The First Lady embarked on a routine visit to check on the state of affairs of the Asa-Dam facility and how it has been improving as the last time she visited there was just before the 2019 elections that ushered the administration to power.
The GM, Kwara State Water Cooperation, Shehu Umar during the facility tour assured the First Lady that the Asa-Dam is working efficiently and optimally and has the capacity to supply water to the entire Ilorin metropolis adequately.
There has been constant supply of water to the people of Ilorin since the beginning of this administration and this is not possible without the administrative support of Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, he added.
Ambassador Abdulrazaq while reiterating Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's adherence to the (SDG-6) Goals that people have access to drinkable water also commended the General Manager and other staff of the Asa-Dam for the good work they're doing at the facility to ensure every household in the state have access to potable water.
