Gani Adams has sent an important message to northern leaders. The Generalisimo urges the leaders of the region to summon Governor Matawalle. Recall that the Governor's recently blasted Yoruba over the issue of Fulani people in southwest.
The governor of Zamfara states alleged that northerners were killed in the southern part of the country. The governor has asked the decree to stop to prevent retaliatory attacks in the north.
According to Adams, the governor’s state is unethical and unfortunate. According to the "Tribune" report, he therefore called on the leaders of the North to call him to order.
Gani Adams made his mind know when he talked to the Nigerian Tribune.
The Yoruba leaders insist that there was no time the northerners were attacked in the southwest. He said that if they were even arrested for a crime, they would be handed over to the police. His statement part read:
Well, I think the governor should know that we southerners, especially southwest, have never attacked northerners in our area.
Northerners engaged in legal business can do business freely in the Southwest. No one will attack anyone that is a criminal. Even criminals are not allowed to be attacked in the Southwest. We will hand them over Policemen. So I don’t know where the governor gets the information.
