While still preparing for the Yoruba nation mega rally in Ibadan today, Sunday Igboho's spokesman has revealed how the governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde helped them with the security operatives concerning the rally.According to a post on one of Facebook pages, he said:
‘Just to tell the world that the governor of Oyo State have put out all security operatives bit that will not stop the peaceful rally today.’
This simply means that the highly respected politician has put in place security operatives that will ensure that the rally go on peacefully as planned without any form of disturbance.
People reacting online have heaped praises on Governor Makinde for this kind gesture. See what they are saying;
Recall that there have been reports that the Yoruba nation rally in Sagamu yesterday was stopped for some minutes by the police. Police allegedly shot into the air in seeing the peaceful demonstrators. It seems Governor Makinde did this good act for his people to prevent anyone from disturbing the peaceful rally.
