Many Nigerians are not happy with the current situation in the country and how their security is not assured in their respective places of residence. This is mainly because of the banditry, kidnapping, and killings that have been carried out unexpectedly by bandits and Boko Haram insurgents.
For this reason also, President Buhari has been tagged by multiple personalities as saying he may not have a lasting solution to this insecurity outbreak in the country before his tenure finally ends in 2023. Despite all these setbacks, the president has assured us that banditry is one of those things he will fix in the country before he leaves office.
Recently, a former minister of education, Yerima Abdullahi, claimed to the public that whether they like him or not, President Buhari has built the nation in his own way. For this reason, millions of Nigerians will miss him when he leaves office in 2023. Yerima Abdullahi said, "When President Buhari says anything is white, take it like that because he always says things the way they are."
Now why would millions of Nigerians miss President Buhari when he leaves office in 2023?
Recall that President Buhari made mention of his government being different, and also how no other previous government had accomplished what his government had accomplished during the 61st anniversary of Nigeria. The reason for this was that he had touched many lives and households with several programmes.
For example, the introduction of the Survival Fund Programme or the National Youth Programme, which has over 774,000 beneficiaries across the 774 Local Government Areas nationwide. Also, many Nigerians have benefited from the N300 billion COVID-19 Targeted Credit Facility. These have helped millions of households, and indeed, they will miss the good deeds of President Buhari.
Would you also miss President Buhari's good deeds when he leaves office, dear reader? Tell me below.
