Few days ago, social media went agog when a news broke out that Senator Oriolowo allegedly commissioned an Airtel mast as a constituency project. This news got a lot of reactions with so many people accusing the lawmaker of doing what is not right.
While explaining himself to BBC News Yoruba, the Osun state Senator revealed that people only misunderstood him.
According to the lawmaker, he said that he only facilitated the mast to be stationed in the Ago Owu Farm community not that he did it as a constituency project.
Speaking further, Oriolowo maintained that the inhabitants of Ago Owu Farm told him that they want a telecommunication mast in their community and that is why he facilitated the construction of the mast to be stationed in the said community.
Conclusively, he noted that there is a difference between 'facilitating a project' and 'building a project'.
