There have been a buzz on social media and almost every news outlet since the news first broke out today that DSS attempted to arrest Sunday Igboho earlier today, it was reported that the attempted arrest was along the Ibadan-Lagos expressway.
The 48 years old is considered a businessman, a human right activist, politician among other things. The Oyo state man was seen in a viral video where he had no top on, daring the officials of the DSS 'to do their worst' before they drove off.
The department of state services have now come out to officially deny that any attempt was made by their officers to arrest the Yoruba activist.
The official statement read, "the department of state services wishes to refute the news that it attempted to arrest one Sunday Igboho, today, at Ibadan, Oyo state. The news is misinforming and should be taken as fake and therefore be disregarded."
However, Nigerians are having their own opinions on the matter heard. Here are a few top tweets.
