Uzodinma's Reign Has Brought Sorrow To Imo- Ohanaeze

The youth wing of South-East socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has reacted to the alleged killing of seven wedding guests by Ebube-Agu security outfit in Imo State.

It was reported on Sunday that Ebube-Agu, a state security outfit opened fire and killed seven youths when they were returning to their community in Otulu, Oru East Local Government Area of the State from Awomama in the neighbouring Oru West LGA.

FG Unveils New NNPC

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday unveiled the new Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, a landmark event that officially changes the oil firm from a wholly state-run entity to a commercial oil company, limited by shares.

The NNPC Limited is expected to be managed as a private energy enterprise unlike the former corruption-ridden government organisation.

The unveiling took place at the presidential banquet hall in Abuja.

Gunmen Kidnap District Head In FCT Community

Malam Isiaka Dauda, the District Head of Kuchibuyi, a remote community in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), was kidnapped by gunmen in the early hours of Sunday.

A source told DAILY POST that the Dauda was kidnapped between the hours of 12 am and 1 am on Sunday in his private residence, very close to his palace.

According to the source, the gunmen stormed the residence in their numbers and immediately fired gunshots on arrival thereby, making the vigilantes stay off as they started their operation.
