
Since the interest of Governor Obaseki in re-elected as the Governor of Edo state,many things has happened.
The Abuja division of the federal high court,on Monday has ruled out a suit that accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state of engaging in certificate forgery.
Justice Anwuli Chikere terminated hearing on the the matter after the plaintiff failed to appear in court,when the suit was called up for mention.
Those listed as plaintiffs in the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/553/2020 are Edobor Williams,Ugbesia Abudu Godwin and Amedu Dauda Anakhu.
They had recently made a forgery case which was that the Edo state Governor Obaseki who is seeking to be re-elected forged the Bachelor of Arts(B.A) certificate in classical studies,he claimed to have obtained from the University of ibadan.
The plaintiffs told the court that the alleged certificate forgery was in contravention of section 182(1)(I) of the Constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended.
