What To Expect In Kogi, Edo, Imo - Primate Ayodele

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has predicted the outcomes of governorship elections coming up in Kogi, Edo, and Imo, respectively. In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele warned the candidate of the PDP in Kogi, Dino Melaye to seek God’s face regarding his ambition because “the election won’t be an easy one”.
He revealed that there will be obstacles against him in the contest which can only be conquered by seeking the face of God more. ‘’The candidate of the PDP in Kogi, Dino Melaye should seek the face of God more concerning his ambition. The election will not be an easy task and I see several obstacles standing against him in the contest. These obstacles can only be conquered by God, he needs to seek God’s face more’’, he said.
In Imo, Primate Ayodele stated that Governor Hope Uzodinma can only be defeated through a strong coalition. ‘’In Imo, I am saying it again that only a strong coalition can defeat Governor Hope Uzodinma. PDP isn’t in this governorship race, they can’t make any impact. The8 opposition parties should come together if they want to defeat the incumbent governor”.
For the Edo election which will is billed for 2024, Primate Ayodele advised the PDP to nominate the deputy governor, Philip Shaibu as its candidate. ‘’I advise the PDP to nominate the deputy governor, Phillip Shaibu as its candidate for the Edo governorship election in 2024. The election will not be an easy one for them, the party needs a formidable candidate’’.
Obasanjo To Inaugurate 23.4km Eket-Etinan Road Today

FORMER President Olusegun Obasanjo will be in Akwa Ibom State, today, to inaugurate a 23.4km Eket-Etinan dual carriageway constructed by Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration. The road, which traverses four local government areas of Etinan, Nsit Ibom, Nsit Ubium and Eket was handled by a Chinese company, CCECC.
Special Assistant to the Governor on Research and Documentation, Mr Essien Ndueso. disclosed, yesterday, when he led newsmen on an inspection tour of the road project preparatory to the inauguration. Ndueso said everything for the commissioning of the road has been put in place.

It Is Not The Duty Of Govt To Create Jobs - Adesina

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina has disclosed that it is not the responsibility of the government to create jobs for its citizens. He said this Tuesday morning on Arise News Television programme ‘The Morning Show’ while speaking on the achievements of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), in the last eight years.
Adesida noted that all that the government does is create an enabling environment for creating jobs while the private sector creates jobs.
