South Can't Force President On The North- Gov Sule.

Governor Abdullahi Sule says northerners will resist southerners’ attempt to force VAT collection by states and 2023 presidency on them.

Speaking on Channels Tv on Monday, Mr Sule stated that the presidency of Nigeria is for people to lobby for it. The governor asserted that it was not a must that the southern region produce the next president come 2023.

Buhari Felicitate With Rochas.

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with former Imo State Governor, and Senator Representing Imo West, Rochas Okorocha, on his 59th birthday.

In a statement signed by Garba Shehu on Tuesday, Buhari fully noted Okorocha’s penchant for always fighting for the wellbeing of the less privileged, adding that he has followed the former Imo governor with keen interest.

However, Buhari said he joins friends and family to celebrate the consummate entrepreneur and philanthropist, whose kindness cuts across Nigeria.

Coup Attempt In Sudan Days After Guinea Takeover.

There was a coup attempt early Tuesday in Sudan, just sixteen days after the civil authority in Guinea was dethroned.

Mohamed al-Faki Suleiman, Sovereign Council spokesman said the Sudanese army will issue a statement on the development.

However, the plotters had attempted to take over state radio in Omdurman but failed.
