President Muhammadu Buhari has continued to reward every one who has worked towards the success of his administration, country and the people.
Just today, President Muhammadu Buhari has made us proud once again by making an outstanding decision.
Buhari was expected to have named a new Inspector-General of Police in place of Adamu after the expiration of his tenure, but the president had been silence on the issue.
Announcing this to State House Correspondents after a meeting with President Buhari in Aso Rock Today, Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Dingyadi, said the decision was to allow for proper selection of a successor.
Mr Adamu was due to retire from the police last Monday having spent the maximum 35 years in service.
This extension by the President had shown that he really valued the good work IGP had done in the past. There were numerous occasions in which the former IGP has proved to the whole country that he was capable and still is.
