It is obvious that Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki's MOU of ESCAPISM has been exposed as another SA, Hon. Joshua Akhabue, from ward 6 (Iruekpen), Esan West LGA resigned his appointment and pledged support for the All Progressive Congress APC candidate for the governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. He said his support for APC is 100% as he is now aware of the governors MOU of Escapism, and that no form of intimidation can deter him from ensuring the success of APC in the 2020 governorship election.

@officialOmoreporter, about a week ago, four Special Assistants from Ovia South-West local government area: Honest Imina Unuagbon (SSA LGA), Goodluck Uyigue (SSA Ward 2), Razak Rotimi (SA Ward 7), Victor Olunyomi (SA Ward 8) and Smart Bank (SA Ward 10) in a joint letter of resignation sent to Governor Obaseki through the Secretary to State Government (SSG), Mr. Osarodion Ogie, they wrote: “Our reason is simply based on the fact that we are tired of the Governor’s MOU of ESCAPISM, and we are not ready to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) along with the governor.”
It is crystal clear that the forthcoming governorship election is no longer a battle between the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governor Godwin Negheghase Obaseki, But the manifesto they both represent “MOU vs. SAMPLE AGENDA.”
Hon. Joshua Akhabue also spoke on Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu "SIMPLE AGENDA" which he described as the way forward for the people of Edo state. In his own words, "I believe Pastor, Osagie Ize-Iyamu SIMPLE AGENDA is a manifesto of hope for us all, a mission to fast track the transformation of Edo state through transparent, effective and accountable governance that will improve the living standards and social well being of the people of Edo state."
@OfficialOmoreporter, Governor Obaseki MOU has been nothing but a means of escaping good governance, concentrated on fighting the party APC and his predecessor and everyone who stood by him during the 2016 election. A very quick question for the good people of Edo state, If the governors MOU of ESCAPISM is regarded otherwise, why is he losing his SA and SSA?
As it stands now, more shocking resignations are on their way as the governors MOU of ESCAPISM is no longer in the secrete but in the open.
