Alberta has now issued 1,009 invitations to Express Entry candidates

By the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program, the Province has invited an overall of three hundred Express Entry Candidates to apply for Alberta Express Entry Stream. For the second time in a row, candidates only needed a comprehensive ranking system score of at least three hundred and one.

To be invited to Alberta’s new Provincial Nominee draw, it is required of candidates to have a profile in the Express Entry System.

Express Entry is Canada’s application management system for the three Federal High Skilled immigration pathways, which include the federal skilled worker program, and the federal skilled trades program, and the Canadian Experience Class.

Eligible candidates for Express Entry will get a score based on the comprehensive ranking system, which awards points for a candidate’s age, education, work experience, language ability in English or French.

Canada’s immigration department, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada regularly holds Express Entry draws, inviting the highest-scoring candidates to apply for permanent residence.

Those who receive the provincial nomination from Alberta will habitually get an extra six hundred comprehensive ranking system points added to their overall score. That means the invited candidates who have scores equal to the minimum requirement in this draw would get a new comprehensive ranking system score of nine hundred and one.
