Politicians And Religious Leaders Are Behind Nigeria's Insecurity - Sheikh Khalid

The insecurity problem in Nigeria is becoming greater. It's either Boko Haram who is bombing or bandits kidnapping innocent students and citizens. Criminal Herdsmen are also causing problems across the country as well, and fear keeps ravaging the mind of many Nigerians because of these situations.

However, Sheikh Khalid a renowned Islamic scholar has come out to share his views on the insecurity matter ravaging the country. Sheikh Muhammad Nuru Khalid has said "Politicians, religious leaders behind Nigeria’s insecurity" during a book presentation.

He made this known on Thursday, claiming that some influential people in Nigeria, including religious leaders and politicians, were the real sponsors of insecurity happening in some parts of the country.

The Islamic Cleric stated this in Abuja during the public presentation of a book titled, ‘The Infinite Light, The Pride of Humanity,’ authored by Sheikh Fathullah Gulen a spiritual leader of Hizmet. He further claimed that bandits, who were mostly youths of northern extraction, had been terrorizing innocent citizens because they get engaged by some well-known politicians and religious leaders working towards the Balkanisation of the nation.

He had further urged the government to address the issues of education and unemployment as a solution to the security challenge. He noted that what the terrorist and bandits are doing is inhuman.
