The Former Chairman of the Financial Accountability Commission of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and General Superintendent of the Holy Spirit Mission (aka Happy Family Centre), Bishop Charles Ighele, has revealed that it is hard to believe that Peter Obi who many people predicted that he doesn't have structures would have won Delta State election. Ighele who spoke in an exclusive interview with The Nation said that Peter Obi got into the prominence of Nigeria because he thought that Nigeria has suffered and the wanted to deliver Nigeria.
He revealed that even after Peter Obi emerge as a presidential candidate, many people thought that he was not going to have any impact in this election, and yet he won the election in many states in Nigeria, including Delta State and no one would have ever thought like that.
He said, "Obi got into the prominence he is today because Nigeria had suffered, and they were asking themselves who would deliver them from those milking them dry and taking their paternity. Obi emerged without an organised structure. Who will have thought Labour would clear Delta State? It lacks structure. It surprises me. There is an establishment right now and whoever becomes President should be humble in victory and work for the interest of the common man."
