According to a tweet he made this afternoon on his verified twitter handle, he made it known that Sheikh Gumi never speaks for the victims, but once bandits are affected, he speaks.
Speaking further, he asked a question so as to know how long the federal shall continue to tolerate Sheikh Gumi who always speaks on behalf of the bandits. Ending his tweet, he stated it clearly that Sheikh Gumi is an inspiration to these bandits.
Indeed this is so disheartening. Uptill now, most Nigerians still don't know the reason why the federal government has refused to arrest Sheikh Gumi and get him prosecuted. I really think that the federal government needs to arrest Sheikh Gumi the same way Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho were arrested. Things must be done properly if we must move forward as a nation
