How i survive from Gwaza attack.

Before i was posted to Northeast 333 Air defence regiment, MAIDUGURI 2010, I had already served 30years remaining just 5years. 2012 our unit left Nigeria to Mali, and as we came back to Nigeria successful without loosing any soul, so our moral was very high. Along the line an incident happened that was beyond our control for that , punishment was awarded especially those of us from 333 Air defence regiment . that returned from Mali where shared to Battalions that are deployed at bush. I was among those that were deployed to Gwaza, the home of Ibrahim one of the Boko haram leader.

As God was with us, Gwaza was under our control for months. Bama Barrack was just a stone thrown to Gwaza controlled by Boko haram but they were not able to take over Gwaza from us, because of the artillery guns that was attach to the Battalion which always keep the soldiers moral High. For months there was no network, but on that faithful day network was all over the village, i made a call to my wife discussing a lot with her ( wife) within a second, we started hearing ALAH KUBARU ALAH KUBARU all over the village with high volumes of firing that we cannot even raise up our heads. So we decided to withdraw to our Head Quarter it was by the grace of God that i am alive today to testify. There was nothing you could hear than flying bullets passing over our head. As God was with me, he gave me the strength to climb the mountain that was beside our head Quarter where we stayed for almost (8) eight days. For those that were not fast enough to climb the mountain, they were slaughtered like Rams, MAY THERE SOULS REST IN PERFECT PEACE. AMEN
