Kamala Harris, The Democratic VP Candidate Has A Nigerian In-Law From Anambra State

If all goes well and the United States presidential elections swing towards the Democrats, Nigerians may be having an inlaw in the white house.

Kamala Harris, a Jamaican immigrant who made her way to the top echelon of American politics, has truly, diversified her roots continuously as her second-generation family still reaches out to other ethnic groups for marriage.

Her niece, Meena Harris is married to a tech professional, Nikolas Ajagu, from Nimo Anambra state.

Meena is the daughter of Kamala's sister, Maya Harris, who is also a lawyer and an advisor to the VP candidate.

Recall The VP candidate, Kamala has a Jamaican father and an Indian mother.

Meena is a 35-year-old lawyer, best-selling author, mother, activist, and founder/CEO of Phenomenal, a female lifestyle/clothing line brand.

Meena recently published a children’s book which is based on the lifetimes and growing up ages of her mother and her VP aunt, Kamala which she titled - Kamala and Maya’s Big Idea.

Meena Harris and hubby, Nikolas Ajagu met while working at Facebook together in 2007. 

The couple celebrated their five-year anniversary, September last year, and they both have two young daughters.

Mr Ajagu is currently the head of global partnerships with Facebook's advertising technology business.

He joined Facebook in 2007 as one of the first 10 employees and had the task of helping the social network develop its monetization strategy.

Nikolas Ajagu is originally from the very large Ajagu family in Nimo, Anambra state of Nigeria and he is a US citizen.

This is wishing Kamala Harris the best of luck as she pursues her dream of becoming the Vice president of the united states of America.
