Meet The Only Lady To Be First Lady Of Two Different Countries

This is really surprising but it's nothing but the truth. I will be giving you a very brief note on how she became the first lady of two different countries.

Graca Simbine Machel is an international advocate for women's and children's rights, In September 1975, she married Samora Machel , the first president of Mozambique. 

She was made an honorary British Dame by Queen Elizabeth II in 1997 for her humanitarian work. Although President Machel died in a plane crash in 1986.

Graca and Nelson Mandela , President of South Africa, got married on the 18 July 1998. Making her the first lady of South Africa.

She is the only woman in modern history to have served as First Lady of two countries, South Africa and Mozambique.
