With evidence that the 2023 presidential election is fast approaching, The available report has shown that the Leaders from the South-East zone are already Agitating that the Igbos should be allowed to produce the next president of Nigeria since the outgoing president Muhammadu Buhari is from the North.

Governor Dave Umahi, is one of the influential APC members who have been tipped to emerge as the presidential candidate of the All progressive Congress. He is the executive governor of Ebonyi state. He is one of the South East Leaders that are demanding for Igbo presidency in 2023, based on the fact that the Southeast region where he hails from has not produced a democratic President of the country since the return of democracy in 1999.

Now that the 2023 Presidential Election is almost around the corner, The report from the Tribune Newspaper has revealed that the APC is currently considering Dave Umahi as the flagbearer of the party in 2023.

The report has also Stated that Dave Umahi has become a regular mention name in the projection for the APC presidential ticket by the APC Leaders, and This is coming when the report from Daily Trust newspaper, had revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari is silently pushing for Igbo Presidency ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

With this, it's shown that The agitation for Igbo presidency may likely favor Dave Umahi over other politicians that are eyeing the presidential ticket of the All progressive Congress in 2023, because of his close relationship with President Buhari and other Top APC leaders in the country
