1. President Muhammadu Buhari Issues Stern Warning Over Yoruba and Hausa Clash.

'Daily Post Nigeria' recently discloses that the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has earlier warned against the alleged clash between the Yoruba and Hausa. According to the report, he made it known to the public on Sunday being the 15th of February 2021, he vows never to allow religious or ethnic groups to stone up violence or hatred against another.

Buhari also promised to ensure that all ethic and religious groups within the country are in line with the constitution and are protected. President Buhari's spokesperson, Garba Shehu discloses that his reaction was base on the reports of violence that suddenly occurred by ethnic and sectional groups in some parts of the country.

RECALL: There was a sudden clash between Yoruba and Hausa Shasha Market in Ibadan on Thursday which lead to elimination of many lives. It continues even after the government ordered for closure of the market.

2. “Why FFK must not be allowed to join APC — Northern PDP Youths.

The Northern People’s Democratic Party has warned allowing FFK to leave PDP for APC. The group made this known to the public on Sunday and their statement was signed by Hon Zonal Youth Leader, Hon. Ibrahim Ahmadu claims that allowing Femi Fani-Kayode to join the 'All Progressive Congress' might spell doom for People's Democratic Party in the upcoming 2023 general election.

PDP’s Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Working Committee (NWC) was also given the maximum of 24hours to ensure that they meet with FFK in order to ensure that he doesn't leave PDP to join APC.

3. ‘Only Covetous Politicians Will Dump PDP For APC’ — Fayose Says Fani-Kayode Going Nowhere.

The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has earlier reacted against politicians planning or those that has joined the 'All Progressive Congress'. According to him, only politicians that are driven by covetousness would dump PDP for APC. He made this known to the public while speaking through a Channels Television program on Sunday.

He was focused on the defection of Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi and also the rumors that has been heard about Femi Fani-Kayode. “I know FFK is going nowhere. What they are saying is not true” — He Said.

In my opinion, It is obvious that lots of the reactions are made in regard to the rumors of Femi Fani-Kayode plan to join APC, there is nothing wrong for a group to try possible best to ensure that they urge their members to continue running activities together, but it will actually be wrong if it is done forcefully or violently. Everyone has the right to make choices on which party they would like to join, support or follow due to self conviction.
