Ngozi Okonjo Iwela born on 13 June, 1954 is a Nigerian- American Economist and International Development Expert. Ngozi Okonjo Iwela who is married to Ikemba Iwela has been In charge of various parts of Nigerian Economy and Finance for years.
From 17 August 2011 - 29 May, 2015 she was the minister of finance, and during former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2006, she was the also the Minister of Finance.
However, Today being 15th February, 2021, the 66 years has been appointed as the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, her term will be commencing On 1st March, 2021. This made Ngozi Okonjo Iwela the First Woman and African to have the job After 25 years of the Organization.
