There are two different incumbent governors in Nigeria under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should not underrate ahead of the incoming presidential election. The former governor of Lagos State has a higher chance of becoming the flag bearer of the ruling party in the year twenty twenty-three general election.

It seems the national leader of the ruling has no powerful opponent to challenge him in the forthcoming presidential election. As a tactical and wise politician, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should not be rest assured that any politician will not show up to challenge him towards the commencement of the 2023 general election. He should be prepared and ready to face any other opponents no matter where they come from in the party. However, no matter what may happen before the election, Tinubu should underrate these two APC governors.

1. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State

If any governor under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) will give Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu a tough time during the upcoming presidential election, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State can be the politician. He is not just an ordinary governor in the party because he holds a post that is very significant in the All Progressive Congress (APC). Fayemi is the current chairman of the Governors' Forum in Nigeria. A platform where all the governors in Nigeria will be available for discussion is the one that Fayemi controls in the country.

If Fayemi considers it a task for him to contest in the year 2023 presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu might need to do a lot of assignments towards the commencement of the election before he can emerge as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC). Fayemi is not a politician that Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu should underrate in 2023.

2. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State

Although his presidential ambitions are still emphatically controversial in the country as many people have been endorsing him from Kogi State while some other people are not backing him, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should never underrate Yahaya Bello in the year 2023 presidential election. Yahaya Bello has become so much popular in the All Progressive Congress (APC) due to the fact that he is an active member of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Yahaya Bello may find favour of the people because he is young compared to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Nevertheless, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should know how to handle a case like that of Yahaya Bello if it springs up before the upcoming presidential election. Governor Fayemi of Ekiti State and Yahaya Bello of Kogi State are the two incumbent governors that Tinubu should not underestimate.
