Obidients Are Calling For The Return Of The Military If They Are Not Declared Winner - Dele Alake.

As the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, continue to release results of the Presidential election which was conducted on the 25th of February 2023, a well known Nigerian politician, former appointed director of Media and Communications of the Buhari Campaign Organization, Henry Dele Alake, while speaking during a conference meeting has alleged that some of the supporters of the former governor of Anambra State and Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Gregory Obi, popularly known as the Obidients, are calling for the return of the military regime if Peter Obi is not declared winner of the 2023 Presidential election.

It might interest you to know that all Nigerians who are of the age of voting went to their respective polling units on Saturday to cast their votes for their preferred Presidential candidate.

However, many supporters of Peter Obi were not pleased with the outcome of the election, as they alleged that the results have been tampered with.

Based on these notes, Henry Dele Alake, a well known Nigerian journalist, activist, and a former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State under the administration of Bola Tinubu, has come out to alleged that supporters of Peter Obi are issuing threats if Peter Obi is not declared winner.

According to his words, Dele Alake said, "Now, those who are issuing threats, that if they do not win, there will be fire, brimstone, and all that, I ask you, how many of them were in the bereket, fighting for this democracy? There were not there. So, they don't appreciate the democracy, they don't understand the conviction of democracy. So, they have no stack in the democracy, that's why they can say there will be fire and brimstone. In fact, some Obidients are calling for the return of the military if they are not declared the winner, and that is very sad".
