Bukola Saraki is one of the prominent Nigerian Politician and medical doctor born 19th December, 1962 in UK to Olusola Saraki and Florence Morenike

His father Olusola, was a one-time Senator in Nigeria who served between 1979–1983. Until Olusola’s death in 2012, he was influential in the political affairs of Kwara state.

Bukola Saraki started his education in Nigeria, he attended Corona School, Victoria Island before proceeding to King’s College, Lagos.

Thereafter, he moved on to Cheltenham College, United Kingdom, where he graduated in 1981 and earned a M. B. B. S from Londkn Hospital Medical College in University of London, 1987.

However, he returned to Nigeria and worked in the Societe Generale Bank of Nigeria Limited for almost a decade and rose to the position of an Executive Director. As a director, he oversaw the bank’s corporate development and other expansion programmes.

In year 2000, he was appointee by President Olusegun Obasanjo as Special Assistant to the President non Budget. He also served between 2003 - 2011 as the executive Governor of Kwara State. After service as a Governor, he was elected the Senate President to represent Kwara Central Seneterial District under PDP.

Bukola tied the knot with his lovely wife Toyin Saraki back in 1991 and their Union was blesses with four children namely, Oluwaseni, Oluwatosin, Teniola, and Teniayo.
