Adeboye Speaks Again

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Friday, noted that he confident that terrorism will end soon in Nigeria.

The cleric stated this at the virtual February 2021 Holy Ghost Service of the church with the theme, ‘God Bless You (2)’.

Adeboye in his statement, said everything in life has a beginning and will surely meet its end someday.


Hoodlums Attack Amotekun Operatives In Oyo

Four operatives of the Oyo State Security Network otherwise called Amotekun Corps are currently battling for survival at a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State after being attacked by hoodlums on Friday.

The personnel and some policemen were reportedly attacked by hoodlums at Odeyale area of Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State before noon.


Buhari To Flag-Off Another Rail Project

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday perform the ground-breaking ceremony of the Kano-Maradi, Kano-Dutse Railway Projects.

The Minister of Transportation disclosed this on Friday via his Twitter handle.

“We are pleased to announce the ground breaking of the Kano-Maradi, Kano-Dutse Railway Project, slated for Tuesday. Our President, Muhammadu Buhari will do the honours. Work begins,” he said.


Ezekwesili Reacts

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has faulted the ban on cryptocurrency trading placed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The CBN gave the order as seen in a statement issued on Friday, stressing that all banking institutions are to close the accounts of customers with cryptocurrency transactions immediately.

Reacting to the ban, Ezekwesili slammed the CBN, saying the order makes the country appear unprepared to embrace the future.


Olusegun Obasanjo Breaks Silence

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said developments and happenings in the country at the moment do not show that the people are preparing for the Kingdom of God.

Obasanjo, who was the Guest of Honour during the dedication of the St. Moses Orimolade Holy Land, the Cenotaph of C&S Founder, on Saturday, noted that most people were acting as if everything starts and ends on Earth.

"The situation we have in the country today does not show we are preparing for the kingdom of God but we have to be prepared", Obasanjo said.
