Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State conveyed to Channels TV anchor Seun Okinbaloye that he cannot be entangled in the ongoing dispute regarding his comments about Peter Obi and the outcome of the 2023 election.
During an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today program, Professor Soludo shared his present sentiments when questioned by Seun Okinbaloye about his previous analysis that the presidential election's result might not favor his colleague, Peter Obi. Seun inquired if he still maintains his standpoint.
In response, Charles Soludo asserted that there is no way Seun Okinbaloye can currently involve him in that contentious matter. However, he emphasized that it is a thing of the past as the election has already concluded. He clarified that his previous statement was primarily influenced by historical context.
In his own words:
"At this juncture, there is no way you can implicate me in that controversy. I believe it is now in the past. The election has already transpired, and what I previously expressed has materialized. Yes, that topic is reserved for another occasion. I firmly believe that over time, I have contributed my narrative to the annals of history."
