Okorocha Makes A Few Comments About Those Who Enter Politics Without Qualities Of A Good Politician

Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has said that Nigerian politicians are playing a key role in the ongoing divisions between the country's various ethnic and religious groups, which threatens the future of the country's unity. Okorocha made the remarks on radio channel VOA.

In his statement, he pointed out that one should be involved in politics only if one's quality and suitability are assessed because those unqualified that are allowed to enter they contribute to the destruction of the country, through lack of political knowledge and leadership. 

Okorocha was speaking on Yusuf Buhari's wedding last week in Bichi, Kano State, which was attended by prominent Nigerian Politicians, not only politicians but also businessmen, traditional rulers and It seems that having a group of leaders in one place will help bring them closer together, and this will lead to a cooperative way of working together to solve any country's problems.

Speaking to VOA Rochas, he said, "Those who should not be called politicians are politicians, some are politicians who are not politicians or nationalists. There are a lot of them in this country. ” "Then there are those whose politics are ethnic and religious. they don't care about anything but religion or ethnicity, they are also numerous in this country." 

Rochas added that, "I am pleased to see Nigerian leaders meeting at the wedding of President Buhari's son and I think it will bring unity to the country." and those who don't have good relation with the president all come, such a meeting brings unity. ”
