The various agitations for secession in the Southern part of Nigeria has raised a lot of arguments within the country. These agitations have caused problems within some states in the Southern region and many things have been destroyed because of these agitations.

However, Nnamdi Kanu (Leader Of The Indigeneous People Of Biafra) and Sunday Igboho (Oduduwa Republic Agitator) are the two major individuals that are agitating for secession in Nigeria. These two people have made many policies that are against the constitution of Nigeria because of their agitations.

The federal government led by President Buhari has created different strategies in order to curtail the activities of these secessionists within the nation.
During Buhari's independence day speech, he said that some prominent people are sponsoring these secessionists (Including a serving member of the National Assembly). This statement made by Buhari caused a lot for mixed reactions from Nigerians.
Recently, the House of Representatives asked President Buhari to name and prosecute the lawmaker identified as sponsor of secessionists within the nation.

The lawmakers disclosed that by identifying and not naming the member of the National Assembly allegedly sponsoring secessionists in the country, President Buhari has allegedly made all the 469 lawmakers to become suspects.
Ben Rollands Igbakpa (A member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency of Delta State) claimed that his privilege has allegedly been breached by the President’s address.
Nevertheless, a lot of people are curious to know if President Buhari should name sponsors of secessionists as demanded by a house of Rep member.

I believe that Buhari should not name the sponsors of secessionists because it might affect other investigations they are conducting over the activities of secessionists in the country.
Also, I think President Buhari should wait until all investigations are completed before naming the lawmaker that is allegedly sponsoring secessionists in the nation.
