Taiwan parliament thrown Punches, water balloons

What a show of shame and rascality as Taiwanese lawmakers threw punches and water balloons inside the legislature on Friday.

According to source, the parliamentary sitting goes into fight over the nomination of the head of a top government watchdog.

The fight was between the ruling Democratic Progressive Party DPP and the opposition party

Kuomintang KMT.

According to report , the fight starts over the decision of the of the Kuomintang KMT to opposed the nomination of a 70 years old Chen, to head the Control Yuan, an investigatory agency that monitors other branches of government.

But KMT is the minority while the Democratic Progressive Parry DPP is the majority. So the KMT needs approval from the DPP.

The KMT chairman according to him, is demanding demand for the nominations to be withdrawn.
