JAMB Reverses Correction Of Data For Candidates Who Lost Their SIM Card. See The Simple Way To Do It

JAMB 2020 correction of data portal is now active, live and open for correction for both UTME/DE Candidates.

Just recall that JAMB introduced the use of OTP ( One Time Password) which is sent to a Candidate's registered phone number in place of biometrics verification to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The OTP must be presented before the correction can be carried out on the Candidate's UTME/DE registration.

Some candidates are now saying that they no longer have access to the same SIM CARD they registered with for the UTME/DE.

THEY SHOULD FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE TO BE ABLE TO EFFECT THE CORRECTION OF DATA:

1.) They should proceed to any of the JAMB offices in person as this service can be carried out in JAMB offices Nationwide.

2.) He/she must supply any of registration number, email and GSM number which he/she used to register.

3.) The JAMB Official attending to the Candidate directs the system to RESEND the OTP through email.

4.) Candidates goes and prints a copy of the email containing the OTP.

5.) He/she will affix passport photograph to the printed email and presents it to the JAMB Official.

6.) A copy of the printed email with the Candidate's affixed passport must be retained at the JAMB office.
