The crisis rocking the Kwara state chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC seems to take a new twist yesterday with things falling apart for factional members of the AA group , a codename given to supporters of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as some of their leaders hurled insults at one another over one team trying to outsmart another in the ongoing registration and revalidation excercise embarked upon by the party .
In an open letter dated 9th of February addressed to the leader of AA group who's also the Governor of the state , Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulrahaman titled "Protest against undue Interference by the Speaker of Kwara state house of Assembly on membership registration in Moro local government" and signed by stakeholders from all wards of Moro Lg, they accused the speaker,Yakubu Danladi of conniving with one Ilyasu Ibrahim to substitute the list original list of Registration coordinators sent to work in Moro and replace with only persons who are going to do their biddings .
The sub AA group members who claimed to be loyal to one Cheif Wole Oke urged Governor Abdulrazaq to stop the speaker from exerting undue influence on matters that concern Moro LGA.

Their letter reads in part :
"We the undersigned, on behalf of the entire membership of the MORO APC UNITY FORUM, the Harmonised Group of Party loyalists and supporters of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, with Members spanning the length and breadth of the five Districts that make up the MORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, under the Leadership of Chief Wole Oke, do hereby submit this petition to Your Excellency on the above captioned subject matter."
"As Party Stakeholders in the various Wards of our Local Government and in collaboration with our two Representatives in the Kwara State House of Assembly, we had earlier submitted lists of recommended Officers, who are to be appointed as Local Government/ Ward Supervisors and also the three Registration Officers in each Polling Center to the Speaker, through our two Representatives as required."
We were however dumbfounded to learn that the lists submitted were replaced by the Speaker with another lists, which were provided by a small Group led by Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim, without any consultation with our two Representatives in the State Assembly."
The group also claimed that the speaker ,Yakubu Danladi is doing dirty job for Honorable Illyasu in order to pay him back for his support to emerge speaker of the 9th Kwara Assembly. They also alleged Ilyasu of shifting trainings centres of Moro LGA to his private residence in order to perpetrate his manipulations without check
"While we expected the Rt. Hon. Speaker to exhibit sense of reconciliation, he however took side by conspiring with Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim to change the lists, against the overall interest of majority of Members of the Party in Moro Local Government. He did this as pay back for an assumed support he (Speaker) purportedly received from Iliasu while seeking for the position of Speaker in 2019. "
"It is worthy of note that the training of all the Supervisory Officers at all levels was to be carried out at the usual designated Centre in Oloru for such purposes but Hon. Iliasu Ibrahim in collaboration with his cohort, including the Rt. Hon. Speaker, clandestinely shifted the Training Centre to his private residence in Ilorin."
"Consequently, we wish to appeal to Your Excellency as the Leader of our Great Party in the State, to kindly call the Rt. Hon. Speaker to caution to stop further and undue interference in the political affairs of our Local Government. "
"We also seek appropriate action for immediate redress in the chaotic situation caused, in order to enable smooth and successful Registration Exercise in Moro Local Government sir."
