Nigerians Tired Of APC – Makinde

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday said the administration of the ruling All Progressives Congress will not extend beyond 2023.

Makinde in his statement said Nigerians are already tired of APC and would kick it out of power at the general elections.

The Oyo State Governor stated this at the inauguration of the South-West PDP Zonal Executives, held at the Government House in Agodi, Ibadan.

Police: Two killed in Enugu cult clash 

Police in Enugu State have confirmed the killing of two yet-to-be identified men in an alleged clash between two rival cult groups on Ogui Road, Enugu metropolis.

The police spokesperson in the state, Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident to newsmen on Tuesday in Enugu.

Mr Ndukwe, an assistant superintendent of police, said the incident happened at about 12 midnight on April 26.

UK’s government advise on electoral act is wise counsel ― MBF 

The Middle Belt Forum, MBF, has described as “wise counsel” the advise by the UK government urging the Nigerian Government to pass into law an electoral act amendment bill to protect its democracy.

National President of MBF, Dr Bitrus Pogu in a reaction told Vanguard in a Makurdi that the advise had been one of the important agitations by well-meaning Nigerians.

Senator Clifford Ordia, representing Edo Central District in Upper Chamber was reportedly attacked twice by suspected bandits along Okenne-Lokoja and Lokoja-Abaji roads on Monday, TodayNg reports.

The suspected gunmen opened fire on his convoy while on his way to Abuja, the nation’s capital from his home town in Edo State.
