The Executive Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello has declared that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will be victorious in the 2023 elections despite the crisis that the party’s Congress is facing. The governor stated this after the election of his faction in the State.
He said, "Its APC from top to bottom and from bottom to top, it’s only APC in 2023."
The Governor had arrived the venue of the congress earlier in a 20-seater Toyota Coaster bus along with his team, but sat in the vehicle for over 20 minutes without stepping out
It was also reported that The Deputy Governor, Ahmed Ketso, Minister of State (Foreign Affairs) Amb. Zubairu Dada, Hon. Umar Bago and other House of Representatives members where absent at the Congress.
The Chairman of the Committee, Ahmed Suleiman Wambai however explained that APC agreed for consensus and read out the names for affirmation.
