Peter Gregory Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party Presidential Candidate, attended a town hall meeting held by the current Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo.
The event was held at the International Convention Center in Awka, Anambra State to mark Soludo's one year in office as Governor. The meeting was well-attended by dignitaries from both within and outside the State, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Upon his arrival at the event, Peter Obi received a warm welcome from the audience and took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the honour bestowed upon him. He later took to his verified Twitter account to reveal that he was present at the event and congratulated Governor Soludo on his first year in office.
Peter Obi also highlighted the importance of building a better society, one that transcends political, tribal and religious affiliations. He called on everyone to join hands in this effort and promised to continue praying for and supporting Governor Soludo in his role as Governor
