Late General Sani Abacha (1943-1998); The Most Feared Nigerian Leader Till Date.

Sani Abacha was born on the 20th of September 1943 in Kano, Nigeria and died on the 8th of June 1998 in Abuja, Nigeria. He was a millitary leader who served as head of state from 1993 to 1998.

General Sani Abacha received all his millitary trainings at both Nigerian and British training colleges. As years went by , he went higher through the ranks in Nigerian millitary and by 1983 he had become a brigadier in the millitary.

The news of his death restored democracy back to the country, and immediately his death people took to the streets dancing and rejoicing joyfully over his death. He had been a tyrant who made Nigerians live in fear while he and his family embezzled large sums of money and hid them away in European banks.

Most of this embezzled funds are still being recovered up till date.
