Ganduje Sacks Aide Who Criticised President Muhammadu Buhari, APC

The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje

The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, has sacked his media adviser, Salihu Tanko Yakasai, who criticized President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC. The Kano State Governor said that Tanko was sacked from his position for careless comments and ranting made against Me. President and the APC.

The sacking of Tanko was confirmed to newsmen by the Kano State Commissioner for information, Muhammad Garba. Muhammad Garba said that the sacking of Tanko was with immediate effect. According to the Commissioner, Tanko failed to differentiate between his personal opinion and public opinion, therefore rendering himself not fit to continue serving the State.

The Kano State Government also advised young political appointees to always be careful with the type of message they pass across to the general public. The Kano State Governor also said that he remains committed to always support the policies of the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration.

Recall that Salihu Tanko was arrested after he publicly criticized his party, APC, and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, for their inability to safeguard the nation. According to Tanko, the major reason why APC was put in power was to help provide security for the nation. Tanko asked President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately resign as the President of Nigeria if he knows he can't provide security for Nigerians.

Shortly after Tanko's criticism, SSS operatives arrested him from Kano State and took him to their headquarters in Abuja for questioning.
