Indeed, The Law, Is Standing Stout Against Governor Hope Uzodinma [Opinion]

Recently, the case about the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidture for the 2019 elections in Imo State, has come to the fore, as the Reformed Alliance Party (RAP) Mr. Kingdom Okereke, has presented the Supreme Court's decision, which stated that Uche Nwosu, is the legitimate Governorship candidate of the APC.

It is important to note that, Uche Nwosu's that Uche Nwosu's(Rochas' Son-in-law) bid for the Governorship ticket, was disqualified on some unclear grounds and he went to the Supreme Court, to seek a redress. Meanwhile, he made an alternative plan, by also moving to the Action Alliance (AA), where he was declared the Governorship candidate for the Party. However, his case against the APC was still in Court.

After Imo elections and the inauguration of the the governor, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the Supreme finally declared Uche Nwosu as the legitimate APC Governorship candidate and this declaration, leaves Gov. Hope Uzodinma, without a party, which is wrong.

It was on this grounds that Mr. Kingdom Okereke, has prayed the Federal High Court, to instruct INEC to retrieve the Certificate of Return, from Gov. Hope Uzodinma and hand it over to Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, since Uche Nwosu was disqualified on the grounds of dual candidacy.

This situation, pits Gov. Hope Uzodinma and truly, the Rule of Law must prevail and the 20th of July, will tell it all.

God bless Imo State!

God bless Nigeria!

Dear Nigerians, please, what is yohr take on this very delicate issue?

Your opinion, surely does count!
