There's nothing more beautiful than seeing Nigerians appreciating Nigerians, I mean we as Nigerians respecting each other's cultures and once in a while proving we care about one another. That's the only thing that can make us a great nation. Subsequently some of our governors have demonstrated what unity should look like by wearing the native attires of other tribes. But today I'll only be focusing on Yoruba governors who wore igbo attires.
1. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Present Governor of Lagos state he was born June 25, 1965. He was announced the governor under the platform of the All Progressives Congress after contesting and unexpectedly winning the gubernatorial primaries under the All Progressives Congress against incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State in October 2018. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, as well as the London Business School, Lagos Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Before his gubernatorial ambition, He was the Managing Director/CEO of Lagos State Property Development Corporation (LSPDC). That's enough information about Governor Sanwo Olu, now lets see him in igbo attire.
2. Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, who was born 21 July 1956, is a Nigerian politician and lawyer who is also the Governor of Ondo State, Nigeria and also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who became president of the Nigerian Bar Association in 2008. Akeredolu was also a Managing Partner at the Law Firm of Olujinmi & Akeredolu, a Law Firm he co-founded with Chief Akin Olujinmi, a former Attorney General and Minister for Justice in Nigeria. Now thats enough information on Governor Akeredolu, now lets see him in Igbo Attire.
