Popular author, social media critic, and former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has come out to openly praise President Muhammadu Buhari on the completion of the Lagos-Ibadan railway line.
President Muhammadu Buhari stormed the city of Lagos today to commission the Mobolaji Johnson Train Station, one of the major projects of his administration and it has gotten him praises from Nigerians including Reno.
Taking to his social media platforms, Reno commended the president for completing the railway project. He specifically applauded President Buhari for not abandoning the project which he claims was initially started by Goodluck Jonathan.
Reno also praised the president for visiting Lagos, as this was his first visit to the state since April 2019.
Furthermore, he stated the fact that people like him who greatly criticize the president do not do so because they hate him, but rather because of their hate for injustice and maladministration, citing that Buhari should be a president to all Nigerians and not to only Northerners.
He ended the accolades by encouraging the president to take more of his good actions to the southeast as this will make Nigerians embrace and love him more.
The railway project which the president commissioned today is the largest in West Africa with a 6000 passenger capacity. It will ease transportation of persons and cargoes respectively.
