Information reaching our news desk now has it that APC South West Governors and others have decided to meet with the national leader of All Progressives Congress, Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu on Sunday, being May 23, 2021, on the growing agitation in South West for a sovereign state of Oduduwa Republic.
It was learnt that the convener of the meeting is the former interim chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande.
According to information at hand, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola; Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, Ondo State Governor; Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and many more will be in attendance.

With the recent calls for national disintegration by prominent sons of Yoruba extraction, the APC members in South West have decided to meet and discuss over the issue on ground and come up with solutions.
In recent times, some illustrious sons of Yoruba race like Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, Professor Banji Akintoye and many more who felt that Yoruba position in the scheme of things in the country and also the state of the nation are no more favourable to the South Westerners, so they decided to embark on secessionist movements.
