A popular Nigerian politician and a chieftain of Labour Party, Professor Pat Utomi, has noted that he scared as a result of different things that are presently happening in the country, most especially "eroding legitimacy of authority in Nigeria."
Speaking further, Professor Utomi made it known that at first, there is the perfect mess of failing governance, currency, fuel crsis and insecurity, but now it's disgust with INEC. He went on and demanded to know whether self interested elite are not seeing the big picture and put Nigeria first before their selfish interest.
Prof Pat Utomi made this disclosure in a tweet he made on his verified twitter handle, on Saturday morning.
He wrote: "I fear and hope. But my great worry is eroding legitimacy of Authority in Nigeria. First their is the perfect mess of failing governance, currency, fuel crisis, insecurity. Now it's disgust with INEC, etc. Can self interested elites not see the big picture and put Nigeria 1st."
Shortly after the just concluded presidential election, many people accused the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and other prominent politicians of working against the Nigerian people. As it stands now, Nigerian politician must think twice by making sure sure that they out their selfish interest aside, so as to move the country forward.
