
The Current serving Governor of Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has emerged winner of the just concluded All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship Primaries which took place at the International Culture and event center (The Dome) Akure, On Monday Akeredolu who Polled 2458 votes to defeat his closet challenger Olusola Oke who scored 262 votes among the other nine Governorship aspirants in the elections .
Earlier before the election Engr. Ifeoluwa Oyedele and Mr. Olusegun Abraham stepped down for Akeredolu the election result announced by Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state says the Primary election was fair after due voting, sorting and counting of the votes.
Governor Akeredolu in his speech specially thanked the Chairman, President Muhammed Buhari and the National Leader of the Party Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other members of the All Progressive Congress for their support and assured the party of victory in the October 10th 2020 Gubernatorial Elections.
