In Nigeria and most places in the World, Traditional Rulers or Kings are to be respected despite their age or experience. Nigeria has so many young Kings including the Ooni of Ife who was crowned King few years ago.
We all know that the Ooni of Ife is a young man, but he is also a great King and because of that most prominent people have prostrated to greet him.
Another reason why people always respect the Ooni of Ife is because even though he is a traditional King, he knows how to respect his elders and he is very humble.
So many prominent people including those who are older than the Ooni of Ife have prostrated to greet him on several occasions.
We all know that the great Alaafin of Oyo is far older than the Ooni of Ife but despite that he has bow to greet him, this shows that despite the power and fame that the Allafin possesses, he is still very humble.
Other Nigerian prominent Politicians which includes Tinubu, Obasanjo, Seyi Makinde have also greeted the Ooni of Ife with respect. This is to show that Nigeria is blessed with humble Traditional Rulers and Leaders.
