Meet Bukola Saraki's Younger Sister Who Was Appointed By Buhari As Minister

Before we meet the younger sister of Bukola Saraki who was appointed by Buhari as Minister, let's take a look at Mr Saraki's biography.

Bukola Saraki is a Nigerian politician and also a medical doctor. Bukola Saraki was elected as the President of the Senate of Nigeria in the year 2015 to 2019. Mr Saraki was the former Governor of Kwara state from the year 2003 till 2011.

Bukola Saraki picked interest in becoming the president of the republic of Nigeria but however he lost the primary election to his party opponent Mr Atiku Abubakar.

Bukola Saraki is regarded as one the most prominent politician in Nigeria. In the year 2018 the Nigerian Journalist named Mr Saraki as the Jack Bauer of Nigerian Politics.

Bukola Saraki was given birth to on the 19th of December in the year 1962, he was born in an hospital located in United Kingdom.

Bukola Saraki secured his M.B.B.S from London hospital medication college of University of London in the year 1987.

His father was a one time Senator in Nigeria who served between the year 1979 to 1983. Until his death in the year 2012, he was influential in the political affairs of Kwara state.

Late Senator Olusola Saraki was married to Florence Morenike which they gave birth to (5) five Children "Senator Bukola Saraki , Senator Gbemisola Saraki Mrs Temitope Edu and Mr Olaolu Saraki".

Senator Gbemisola Saraki is the younger sister of Senator Bukola Saraki.

Meet Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki who is currently serving as the Minister of state for transportation of federal Republic of Nigeria, she was appointed by president Muhammadu Buhari on the 21st of August in the year 2019.

Gbemisola Saraki studied at the university of Sussex in UK, she secured a bachelor degree in economic.

Gbemisola did her national service at the Nigeria Bank for commerce and industry located in Lagos State, Nigeria. She worked for the Societe Generale Bank

(Nigeria) with the post of the Head of Money Markets and later as the Head of Domiciliary Accounts. From the year 1994 to 1999.

Gbemisola divorced her husband, Olusegun Fowora whom she had married in the year 1990, they have 2 children together.

Gbemisola Saraki served as a member of house of representatives in the year 1999 under the platform of All People's party.

She contested for the Senate in the year 2003 and won, representing the Central

Senatorial District of Kwara State. She has won the seat of Senate twice. she was also a member of several committees. At the Senate in the year 2007 to 2011.

When his elder brother Bukola Saraki was chaired among the committee for Poverty Alleviation and Economic Affairs, she acted as the vice chair person.
