As Chad is set to bury their late indefatigable president, Idris Deby, today being Friday, over a dozen of African leaders are being expected to be present, to pay the late president his last respect.
According to Guardian, the African Leaders that are expected to be attending the funeral are:
2. Alpha Condé, President of Guinea Conakry.
3. Umaro Sissoco Embalo, President of Guinea-Bissau.
4. Bah Ndaw President of Mali.
5. Félix Tshisekedi, President of Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
6. Mohamed Bazoum, the president of Niger.
7. Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, President of Burkina Faso.
8. Mohamed Ould El-Ghazaouni, President of Mauritania.
9. Faure Gnassingbé, President of Togo.
10. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, President of Sudan.
11. Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda, Prime Minister of Gabon
The presence of these leaders would really be a great sign of respect to the Hero of Chad, Idris Deby, who died while defending his citizens from criminals.
Despite the warning from militants and terrorists, that foreign leaders should stay away from the funeral, these leaders still see the need to pay the last respect to whom it's due.
Not just that these leaders are expected to be present, some of them are already in the Capital of Chad since yesterday, putting things in order. People like the President of France, Niger, and so o.
Following the movement and the warnings coming up from rebel forces or terrorists, who have vowed to continue distorting peace in Chad, the Government has already organized strong security to ensure a secure environment for those that would be coming for the funeral.
As Late president Idris is buried today, may his soul continue to rest in peace. We pray for more of such leaders in Africa, who will always care for the interest of the citizens, and to defend them from their enemies.
