Ortom has been recently attacking and critizing every move Buhari's government made to bring peace in Nigeria.
The governor opposed open grazing in his state, and also opposed Buhari's plan to revive ranching in 25 states. More than two northern groups have warned Ortom to mind his business and stop opposing federal government decisions. One of them has threatened to arrest him once he leaves the office.
